About Charli

Producer. Planner. Creative problem solver. Professional maker-of-things-happen.

I’ve always believed the best events are about more than beautiful tables, great food, or the perfect venue. They’re about how people feel when they’re there. That’s what I love creating.

My background is in film and television production, where I learned very quickly that bringing a big idea to life takes creativity, organization, flexibility, strong relationships—and the ability to stay calm when approximately twelve things change at the same time.

Those same skills eventually led me into producing conferences, nonprofit events, fundraisers, auctions, community programs, corporate gatherings, and special events.

And somewhere along the way, I realized: This is exactly where I’m supposed to be.

A Producer at Heart

I approach events a little differently because I don't just think like an event planner. I think like a producer. I see the entire experience—from what guests see when they arrive to what's happening behind the scenes five minutes before the doors open.

That means thinking about the creative vision, timeline, vendors, guest experience, logistics, signage, sponsors, entertainment, fundraising, photography, production schedules, and all the tiny details most people never realize had to be planned.

When everything works, guests don't see the hundreds of decisions that went into making the event happen. They simply have an incredible time.

That's the magic.

Events With Personality

Your event should tell your story.

A nonprofit gala should make people feel connected to the mission.

A corporate event should feel like the people and personality behind the company.

A community event should make people feel like they belong.

And a wedding or celebration should feel unmistakably like the people being celebrated.

Sometimes that means elegant and sophisticated.

Sometimes it means colorful and unexpected.

Sometimes it means taking an idea someone casually mentions and saying:

"Wait. We should absolutely do that."

Those are usually my favorite ideas.

Creativity Meets Logistics

I love the creative side of events—the theme, atmosphere, storytelling, guest experience, and those unexpected details people remember.

But I also genuinely love the logistics: the spreadsheets, the schedules, the vendor calls, the run of show, the backup plan for the backup plan.

Because creativity is what makes an event exciting. Organization is what makes it possible.

Events That Do Some Good

Some of the work closest to my heart has involved nonprofit fundraising and community events.

I've worked on donor outreach, sponsorships, silent auctions, fundraising experiences, volunteer programs, community projects, and large-scale nonprofit events, helping raise over $100,000.

There's something incredibly rewarding about producing an event that's beautiful and memorable while also helping an organization raise money, strengthen its community, or move its mission forward.

A great event can be a celebration—and a catalyst.

I love creating both.

And Yes, We're Going to Have Fun.

Planning an event can get stressful. I don't think working with your event producer should be.

You can expect honesty, ideas, organization, plenty of communication, probably a few ridiculous conversations, and someone who becomes genuinely invested in making your event work.

Because when you hand me your idea, I don't see another event on a calendar. I see something we're about to create together.
